Javier Pereira has known since he was a child what it is like to face the cameras and the public. It was always clear to him that he wanted to make a career in the world of cinema. So, he left his studies to devote himself entirely to achieving his dream.
He studied dramatic art at Cristina Rota’s school, and in 1998, at the age of 17, he made his television debut in the series Señor Alcalde (Lord Mayor). She achieves a certain notoriety thanks to her participation in two iconic series for teenagers: Nada es para siempre (Nothing is forever) and Al salir de clase (On leaving class, a springboard for launching major companies). His career in cinema took off in the mid-2000 thanks to Frío sol de invierno, Heroína, Tu vida en 65´, his first protagonist, or Días azules. In recent years it has remained in the gap thanks to series such as Cuestión de sexo or Gran reserva: El origen and films such as Animales de compañía, No tengas miedo or Stockholm, among others.
