He was born in Malaga in 1958. He is married and has two children. He has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Malaga, where he also studied Law.
At present and since 2013, he is Director-Manager of the municipal company Festival de Cine de Málaga e Iniciativas Audiovisuales, S.A., where since 1999 he has held other positions as General Coordinator, Deputy Director, External Relations and Institutional Relations, occupying in this same area the direction of Málaga Film Office.
