The jury of the second edition of Málaga 4K Fest, formed by recognized professionals of the sector, has selected the 7 winners of the main international festival of short films in 4K-Ultra High Definition (UHD), organized by Medina Media Events, in collaboration with Festival de Málaga.
The 7 winners of the Malaga 4K Fest 2020 will be announced on Friday 20th November, at the virtual awards ceremony, which can be accessed from the official website of the festival (www.malaga4kfest.com).
The prestigious jury of this edition has been formed by: Juan Antonio Vigar, director of Festival de Málaga; Samuel Martín Mateos, director of La2 de RTVE; Luis León Luri, programming manager of the thematic channels of Atresmedia TV; Elena Ceballos, director of film product marketing for Europe of Dolby Laboratories; Esther Gómez, CEO of Best Digital; Gustavo Fuentes, general manager of Grupo ADM (Audiovisual Digital Multimedia); and María Medina, commercial director of Medina Media 4K.
Last Wednesday, October 7th, the jury proceeded to deliberate and vote on the 7 winners, based on the list of finalists, previously rectified, which can be found on the official website: www.malaga4kfest.com
In this edition, a total of 324 short films from 35 countries have been presented: Spain (255), from France (17), Brazil (9), Argentina (9), Iran (8), Egypt (7), Mexico (6), Peru (4), Colombia (3), Italy (3), Turkey (3), Germany (2), India (2), United States (2), South Korea (2), Australia (1), Austria (1), Belgium (1), Bulgaria (1) Canada (1), Croatia (1), Cuba (1), Greece (1), Honduras (1), Malaysia (1), Paraguay (1), Philippines (1), Syria (1), Tunisia (1), United Kingdom (1), and Uruguay (1), and have also been produced in other countries such as Cyprus, Andorra, Japan, and the Netherlands.
